What a school pays for
School systems are usually quoted rather than priced, and the quote grows once the modules are counted. Kestrel is sold as one product at one rate that falls as your enrolment rises.
What each school gets
- Each part of the record: admissions, the family, attendance and health, safeguarding and the returns
- Each statutory return your school has to file
- Passkey sign-in and multi-factor authentication
- The integration API and its documentation
- Migration of your historical records
- Training for your staff, and support from the people who wrote the software
What costs extra
- Nothing. If it is in this list of features, it is in the price.
Fee billing hands off to your accounting package, so a finance integration is a matter of configuration. Where a third party charges you directly, such as an SMS gateway, you pay them at their rate and we do not add to it.
